at Université Bordeaux Montaigne - UBM

I believe people who frequent this University are mostly nice, and not too much competitve against each other. The social trait cannot be ignored, it is always good to have a good surrounding.

However, the administration part of this uni, be it to the organization of your courses and compositions of classes, or even online courses and exercises can be sometimes messy. But I think it is because there have been recent educational reforms which may slow down the organization of teachers and the administration.

Most teachers really like their job, if you ask them questions they will reply you the best they could and are always willing to help you. The University also employs foreign teachers, which I think helps broaden your mind a bit.

Globally it is a good school. Unfortunately organization problems really ruin it sometimes. But I believe it will get better in the next few years.
