I stayed at the Lille Univesrity for almost two years as a part of an International Masters degree. At first I was a little reluctant and with not many expectations regarding the University and the overall environment, but quite excited about the programme. Soon, I found out that not only the programme, but the people and especially the professors were very welcoming and kind. The only difficulties I found where the language barrier which, with time, passed by and the overall slow administration of the pubblic university system that can be quite frustrating.
