Student review [#103604] for Applied Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics
at ENSAI – National School for Statistics and Information Analysis

It’s a good school that, after preparatory classes, provides training to become a good statistician and a good data scientist. It’s a school that tries to reinvent itself each time, but it’s also a school that trains civil servants, which is important for INSEE (the French National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies). My experience in the classes was good; they were enjoyable and clear. Of course, there are some courses I like less than others, like everyone else. But I also think it’s a flaw in the field, and perhaps not specific to the school, that no matter what we do, we’re always a bit behind, because technologies evolve faster than the time we spend in school. As a result, we graduate with a solid foundation in statistics, but not necessarily a vision that reflects the realities of current technology stacks. But I think this is a question that arises in all data and AI schools, not just mine.
