I studied at Université Bordeaux Montaigne as a foreign student. The professors were quite nice, especially since some of them were also from other countries. However, you do need a solid level of French to fully integrate, as French people generally expect you to keep up. The campus is not too big and is easy to navigate, making it feel quite cozy. The classes are not overcrowded, and the library is well-equipped.
In conclusion, my experience was positive overall. I only wish I had taken more chances because universities offer many opportunities — you just need to seize them!
