View moreI’m a sophomore at AUP, and I love it here. There are tons of things to do on this lovely campus. Through classes and groups, I have made a lot of new friends, and they have all been quite helpful. The faculty and Professors are very Understanding and are aware of how difficult it may be to transition to college life. Additionally, AUP offers academic, financial, and social support to its students. It is a university that helps its students just as much as students help it.

View moreThis university is situated in such a beautiful location. You can’t deny that attending this university, which is situated right in the heart of Paris, hasn’t taught or exposed you to certain things. With the vast metropolis of Paris at your feet, learning is close by if your lesson ends up being insufficient. Each session gives the chance for deeper thought thanks to the international faculty’s wealth of unconventional perspectives on the modern world. Though language barrier might be an issue sometimes but it’s okay still. Je dirais certainement aux futurs étudiants de postuler pour étudier ici.
View moreMy courses are extremely challenging now that I am no longer a freshman at AUP. I have found that I have been able to form very close relationships with the professors that I have had so far due to the small class size, which will ultimately help me when I start to apply to graduate schools and need to request recommendations from my past professors. Also, due to the fact that American University of Paris has an extremely diverse student body as well as faculty, class discussions are always extremely eye opening as I am constantly exposed to many different world views and perspectives. I have definitely enjoyed the professors I have had, courses I have taken and friends I have met so far here at American University of Paris. This university constantly forces me out of my comfort zone on a day to day basis and therefore forces me to grow in more ways than I can begin to explain. I have moved to a different country, continent and culture and I have met people from all parts of the world and have learned about so many different ways of living by attending American University of Paris. Many of the professors are from some the top universities in the world including Cambridge, Oxford, John Hopkins, NYU, Georgetown, etc. and aside from the amazing academic education that one receives at American University of Paris, one also receives an experience unlike any other university experience in the Unites States (that I have ever heard of, at least).Attending university in Paris has it’s perks. If the French are known for anything, it is for love and great cuisine. And boy, do they love cuisine. The bistros, cafes, restaurants, and diner possibilities are quite literally endless. Within a five minute walk from campus in any direction, one will find dozens of dining choices. The cost is average in comparison to central Paris, although the closer you dine to the Eiffel Tower, the emptier your wallet will feel on the way home. Student discounts are not very common, but there are many dining options for tight budgets. The variety of food is seemingly endless, there is Indian, Mexican, American, British, French, Italian… you name it, and it’s right at your doorstep.
