The University study experience is very practical and the student welfare is top notch. There are a lot of fun campus activities every other week and plenty of opportunities for students to socialize. This is especially important for international students as it can be difficult to settle in and also move beyond the language barrier with Finnish folks. Also, there are inclusive restrooms and accessibility to buildings for disabled people. There’s plenty to love about UEF, not forgetting the Finnish winter and the Aurora northern lights!
View moreMy experience at the university has been overwhelmingly positive. While some may claim that forming meaningful connections in a large institution is difficult, I believe that with sufficient effort, it is possible to achieve anything. The faculty and teaching assistants have been helpful and dedicated to helping students understand the material. Additionally, the campus environment is welcoming and promotes diversity, creating an enriching educational experience.
