What I Like and Dislike About Studying International Business at SEAMK

One of the things I like most about the International Business program at SEAMK is its international environment. I have the opportunity to study and work with students from different countries, which helps me learn about various cultures and improve my communication skills. I also appreciate that the program covers important areas such as marketing, management, finance, and entrepreneurship. These subjects provide practical knowledge that is valuable for a future career in business. In addition, the project-based learning approach and collaboration with companies allow students to gain real-world experience and develop problem-solving skills.

However, there are also some aspects that I do not like. In group projects, not all team members contribute equally, which can create extra work for others. Some courses can be quite theoretical, making them less engaging at times. Another challenge is adapting to Finland’s long and dark winter season, especially for international students who come from warmer countries. Finding a part-time job while studying can also be difficult for some students.

Overall, I enjoy studying International Business at SEAMK because it provides valuable knowledge, practical experience, and an international perspective that will help me in my future career.

-The university provides everything that a student needs and more. Classrooms can be accessed from 07.00 -22:00 and can be used whenever there is no lesson in there.
-Plenty of computers for individual use.
-Free printing service available. The student only needs to bring the paper.
-Good teachers and highly international environment.
-Affordable and good lunch served at the canteen.
-Free well-equipped gym for those who like to exercise.
-Beautiful building, very cosy and nice overall atmosphere, I could spend the entire day there.

Seamk University of Applied Sciences is a clean, high quality and comfortable place. The new great facilities and its top staff will definitely make you feel comfortable. The school has quality language teaching and good courses. The best part, though, is people, especially classmates.

Seamk is very nice and modern school, which is beatifully located next to Seinäjoki river couple hundred meters away from centrum. I would highly recommend our school to anyone from anywhere around The globe.
