I have experienced firsthand the challenges of finding employment after graduation especially In Ethiopia. The job market is competitive and can be daunting for many graduates. However, the university has put in place several support mechanisms to ensure that graduates find suitable employment opportunities. One of the ways in which the university supports students in their job search is through career guidance and counseling services. Career advisors are available to help students identify their strengths, interests, and career goals and provide guidance on job searching strategies, resume writing, and interview preparation. Additionally, the university has strong industry partnerships and a well-established network of alumni who are actively involved in providing job opportunities for current students. This helps students connect with potential employers and gain valuable work experience through internships and job placements. Also, the university organizes job fairs, recruitment drives, and networking events.

As a student at Adama Science and Technology University, I highly recommend the Computer Science and Engineering courses. The professors are highly knowledgeable and experienced in the field, providing quality education and practical skills. The course curriculum is well-structured, covering a wide range of topics from programming languages to software development and network security. Another great course to study at ASTU is Electrical and Computer Engineering. The labs are well-equipped with the latest technology, allowing students to gain hands-on experience and practical skills. The professors are passionate about teaching and always support students in their academic journey.

Studying at Adama Science and Technology University in Ethiopia has been a unique and better experience. The quality of education is commendable, with dedicated professors and well-equipped facilities. However, one aspect that is lacking is the diversity of students on campus. Most of the student body is Ethiopian, which limits opportunities for cross-cultural exchange. Despite this, the university offers a supportive environment for learning and growth. Many students commute from home, those that stay at the hostels live near the school.
