I’m a business administration student at UNYP. What do I like about UNYP? Well, first of all I want to mention the small class size. It’s nothing like huge lecture halls where you just listen passively or fall asleep in the back row. Smaller classes mean more interaction and more attention from professors. You’re not just a listener but you’re an active participant in discussions. You can ask questions at any moment, and you know the professor will take the time to answer and help you understand. I also love the flexibility in building your own schedule. Knowing your own strengths, habits, and workload, you can plan your semester in a way that works best personally for you. On top of that, there are many electives to choose from just because you’re genuinely interested in the subject area. The whole system feels open and democratic, American style
Throughout my studies I met many professors with whom I built friendly, supportive relationships. They were always ready to help; if a student struggled with a topic, professors were open to meeting on campus to go through the material together. Over the years, I’ve done everything from group projects and presentations to debates and even small performances. It has been a genuinely engaging, memorable, fun experience
And the last thing I want to mention is that staff is very supportive: from the beginning till the end.
