I’ve graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the program Applied Informatics.
The teaching staff is mostly highly qualified, but the university sometimes feel slightly more like a work training. Number one thing that matters seems to be future employability, which I personally appreciate, but if you wish to dive deep into theory and become a scientist, there are better universities for it.
The dorms were affordable, there were mostly enough slots and options to choose from.
The school is located basically right above a metro station (Hlavní nádraží) which is super convenient (though first year subjects are mostly taught elsewhere).
There are better and worse subjects, some just seem like a filler. There are many kazach, russian and ukrainian students attending the czech programs.
Overall, quite a lot of international students are present. There are also various international programs the students can take parts in and the community is nice overall.
