The university is beautifully diverse. The availability of many fields, especially those related to specialization. I would definitely highlight the consistency of the internships, which in my opinion give us the most in the future.
Own entrance exams are also an advantage.

I would recommend it to anyone. The staff is very supportive and the subjects very interesting. It’s a mix of courses, self study and excursions.
We can also go to many out of school activities with other students.

I love to study here because I can travel a lot and see different towns. The university is well organized. Ostrava is a nice city for students and has a lot of benefits for me. I is defintely not my last visit.

The health-social care program provides combination of theoretical knowledges and practical experience. I learned a lot about social works, healthcare and had a great opportunity to have internship in different social and health organization. The program also helped me to develop my social skills.

As someone who Is extremely introverted I never had any issues making friends or interacting with professors. Everyone Is friendly and welcoming so University of Ostrava is Always a good choice for anyone.

Ostrava University offers a friendly and supportive environment for students. Teachers are usually approachable and willing to help if you show interest in the subject. I appreciate that some courses have smaller groups, which makes communication with lecturers easier.

The university also offers opportunities to get involved in student organisations, projects, and international exchanges. This helps students gain practical experience and meet people from different backgrounds.

I would recommend Ostrava University to students who are looking for a welcoming atmosphere and opportunities to be active during their studies.

Relaxed environment, nice teachers, good subjects, most teachers are willing and accommodating, there is a public transport station near the faculty, a good home bakery, the school is mostly girls – it can be a nice environment for girls, it is not toxic and problematic, the café is great and serves a wide range of coffee

I love it, great collective and even greater teachers of sociology! There are also plenty of options to participate in plenty of diverse activities and school supports the expansion of one’s abilities and intellect

I can’t really judge it yet, since I’m in my first year at the university, but I’m happy with the school so far. The teachers are very helpful and friendly. The only thing I would criticize is that the university doesn’t have a cafeteria.

So far I am very satisfied with the university, I like the choice of professional subjects and the fact that there is a great emphasis on practice (at least at my faculty – the Faculty of Social Studies). However, I miss the university’s cafeteria.
