Charles University is a wonderful place to study, as an international student studying Pharmacy, the course is in English, professors are well understanding of the course, materials, and there are many opportunities for growth regarding career prospects, such as PhD offers.
Prague is an incredible place to live, with plenty of international students.

The Politics, Philosophy, and Economics program at Charles University offers a highly focused and rewarding academic experience. The professors are engaged, approachable, and genuinely care about your development, and the administrative side runs surprisingly smoothly for a large European university, with a personal touch given to every student. The small cohort size makes it easy to build strong connections, and Prague itself is an incredible place to study, with a rich social scene and culture. That said, the program can feel a bit isolated from the rest of the university, especially between the English and Czech-speaking faculties, which sometimes limits broader academic and social integration. Professor Solomon’s philosophy courses are a highlight of the PPE program, world-class in both content and delivery. Drawing from the Oxford PPE model, he brought a rigorous yet refreshingly personalized approach that made complex ideas feel both accessible and engaging. While I initially found the Economics track less effective in its teaching methods, the program showed a strong willingness to adapt. Student feedback was taken seriously, and the curriculum has since been overhauled, leading to a much-improved and more coherent learning experience. Therefore, if you’re looking for an intellectually stimulating program in a world-class city, PPE at Charles is a great choice for anyone looking to build a future in diplomacy, law or a political career.
