Lecturers are often described as approachable and experienced in their fields, particularly in professional programme. Tuition is more affordable than the major research universities, and the large number of SSSDP-subsidised places is a clear advantage. The student body is diverse, with both local and mainland students.

The scale of university is not big but the lecturer was really familiar with what they were profession and very passionate to what they taught. There are two libraries in the university which provided sufficient space for student to study.

My university places great emphasis on fostering positive relationships between teachers and students, as well as maintaining a healthy schedule. In terms of teacher-student relationships, professors are willing to help students solve problems, address both academic and personal concerns, and actively offer constructive advice regarding students’ future development and career paths. As for the schedule, it is very flexible, ensuring that students have enough free time each week to participate in other activities.

HKMU offers a dynamic academic environment with a strong emphasis on global perspectives. The courses are well-structured, and the faculty are experts with a wealth of industry experience. The admissions process is competitive but transparent, and the university offers substantial financial aid options. Campus life is vibrant, with a rich array of student organizations and activities that reflect Hong Kong’s cultural diversity. However, living expenses in Hong Kong can be high, which may be a concern for some students. Safety is generally well-handled, with campus security and emergency services readily available.
