Schulich is highly segregated from the rest of York University, so this review is catered toward this specific program. From an academic standpoint, this is a great program; Schulich offers a wide variety of courses across countless fields of business, including areas that are not viewed as “standard business fields.” Most of the professors/instructors are amazing and deeply care about their student’s success, both in school and in the professional field and are always willing to lend a helping hand. There are many opportunities to get involved in extra-curricular, with the countless clubs offered by the school. Schulich also has an extensive network of alumni at some of the most prestigious organizations in the world, allowing students to form very important contacts and relationships that will last into the future. However, I have noticed an imbalance in class deliverables – the first half of the semester will be very light, with most courses having little-no deliverables; then all of a sudden, every single class will pile on multiple deliverables due at the same time, making it very stressful for students.
