I found that UVIC does not have a very wide variety of clubs. All the major faculties have student leaders clubs and societies. These clubs are amazing and plan many activities. They also provide networking spaces. I do find that the clubs however are not super active. There is often one event at the start of the semester but then things die down. I still love going to the fair herald by the student society that displays all the clubs present. I also enjoy the sports and recreation clubs formed by the ViKES(UVic’s sports association) some of them are paid but they provide training and instruction for you.

I received my degree in Health Informatics and liked that you were able to receive real world experience in their co-op work programs and earn some money at the same time.
