Throughout my experience attending the University of Regina, I have developed a love-hate relationship with it. The main things I can appreciate about the school are the price and safety. However, the student services are not helpful, and most students have little to no social life. I would recommend the University of Regina if the person were looking for a school with a reasonable price point. However, if a prospective student were looking for a party school the University of Regina is not a good fit.
View moreThe campus life and academics at this institution are truly exceptional. The university provides students with all the tools, equipment, and resources they need to succeed. The school has never been lacking in any area, ensuring that students always have what they need to learn and grow. The university provides a well-rounded education, and the professors are knowledgeable and dedicated to their students’ success. The faculty and the structure of the school make it a fantastic place to study and learn. It’s clear that the institution truly values its students and their education.
View moreMy university provides a conducive environment for learning, communication, socializing and growth. It stands out with its elaborate and opulent classroom and laboratory furnishings and equipment, standard gym, sports facilities and infrastructures. It also provides a variety of educational and social welfare programs. The highly skilled professors and advisory board are readily available and concerned about the students. Honestly, my school is a gem to discover as your educational and mental needs are well taken care of.
View moreI consider it above average. There is a lot of room for improvement so I give it 4 stars instead of 5. It is a great learning environment, very hospitable too. If you are international student, you feel at home due to many international students there. Learning facilities and resources are above average. Teaching and research are above average. It is an above average school in general. One great downside the harsh winter of the city. It does get extremely cold, down to -45 sometimes.
View moreThe University of Regina is not the best school in Canada, but the Hill Business School is arguably one of the best in Western Canada. I think the Hill School is the university’s competitive advantage and major selling point.
To enjoy your time, you need to actively participate in extra-curricular activities. They are fun, broaden your horizons and allow you to travel on the Hill School’s budget (I’ve been on 3 out-of-province trips this year at no cost to me). Your experience at the university is totally dependent on the clubs you join, the people you meet and how you meet people.
