

York University is solid overall but definitely has flaws. The campus is big and has a lot of resources, and some professors are genuinely great, especially in business and social science. I liked the variety of courses and how many study spaces and facilities there are.
What I disliked is the administrative side—things can feel disorganized, slow, and hard to navigate. eClass issues, scheduling problems, and long wait times for support are pretty common. Some classes also feel overcrowded or inconsistent depending on the prof.

I found the classes to be enourmous lectures which made it difficult to connect with anyone, students or the professors. I dont feel like I left here with any real connections or possible references. With the new York University subway station located just outside of my classes, I find it to be extremely convenient for many commuters alike. Also having it being located in the Greater Toronto Area creates a welcoming environment for students of different ethnic backgrounds, a goal that York University aims to celebrate.
