The University of Toronto provides a superb opportunity for individuals to expand their knowledge in subjects they feel deeply passionate about. The professors at this institution consistently demonstrate professionalism and share their expertise to ensure the best learning experience for students. Additionally, being a part of this university has enabled me to connect with like-minded individuals who share my interests and has given me a platform to actively pursue my passions. Overall, the university offers a conducive environment for both learning and personal growth, fostering an environment that encourages students to develop maturity and prepare for adulthood.

The competitiveness is high. The program is really fast paced. Engineering is a difficult subject at UofT. Lack of job opportunities. There are some good professors and some bad professors. UofT has an excellent record in engineering but its student life and wellness is unsatisfactory.

Being a student at the University of Toronto is truly a unique experience. The professors are very easy to talk to and approachable. The school’s policy and accommodations when it comes to the well-being of its students are outstanding. Moreover, the mental health resources and support are very accessible, and people actually listen and want to help you to make the transition to university as much as possible. However, things that are currently missing from the university are traditions, culture, and unity. Unfortunately, the university does not provide its students with a sense of unity or a sense of belonging. Talking to my friends about how they feel about our school, I have noticed not one of my friends would recommend studying at the University of Toronto. When asked the reason why this is their perspective on the university, they tend to say the workload is extremely hard, there is not a uniting culture for students but instead, a culture where students try to take each other down. The competition is extreme, and this creates an unhealthy environment for students when not backed up with traditions or activities that will support unity and create a sense of belonging.
