I generally was able to have a positive experience! I think while I found it was a little tough to narrow down my focus to something I really wanted to study (something I’m still finding difficult even as a post-grad!), the specialization paths that students could pick from came with a lot of variety, which I appreciated.
First and second year courses also came with the freedom to choose a wider variety of electives and non-program-specific courses in general. Professors were knowledgeable, and because classes weren’t in giant lecture halls with hundreds of students, it made the classroom experience generally much more relaxed. Overall, a positive experience.
View moreThis University has many great programs that allow for opportunities of growth and development. The professors are talented and well educated. Lectures are often accompanied with labs where students can further demonstrate what they have learned. Campus is full of life with many things for students to do.
Many courses appear to factor attendance into your final grade which doesn’t give a true assessment of the student’s knowledge. A student could do well on every test and assignment and still end up with a 60% because of missing attendance.
Overall this is a great school that is affordable and provides you the opportunities to truly find yourself as a student.
