at Seneca College

I took the travel service management program for 2 years (5 semesters overall). The classes that I took were of a wide range and were beneficial in learning information needed for different travel-related careers. A lot of the information learned is Ontario-specific, which may make some things difficult in my future as I’m not a Canadian citizen and am not planning on staying in Ontario. Furthermore, many of the professors are not very good at teaching, often just reading through PowerPoints, resulting in me teaching myself a majority of the material. The school in general (my program coordinator specifically, especially) have major communication issues which ultimately made my experience at the school much more difficult than it should be, including forcing me to take an extra semester because I wasn’t given the proper information.
