This is great college campus with a welcoming community. The centennial college campus that I go to is at Progress and it has great number of facilities and it is a safe and secure environment.
I am looking forward to checking out the sports facilities and use facilities like the gym.
Centennial College is a top-notch institution that delivers an exceptional learning experience. The Human Resource Management program, which I completed in 2023, provided a comprehensive and practical understanding of HR concepts. The curriculum was well-designed, incorporating industry-relevant content, and the faculty demonstrated a deep commitment to student success.
One aspect that stood out was the emphasis on real-world applications. The program encouraged hands-on learning, and various projects and assignments mirrored the challenges faced in professional HR settings. This practical approach not only enhanced my theoretical knowledge but also equipped me with the skills needed to excel in the field.
View moreBeing an international student, the first thing I learned from my college was getting along with different people and their cultures. Moving on to academics, the course I am pursuing is Interactive Media Management. The one thing I like about this course is that, though it is mainly focused on UX design, it also lets the students learn a lot more than that. The structure of the course is designed like a “Jack of All Trades” one. Students can learn and master according to their interests. The professors have a deep understanding and experience. Their in-depth knowledge, not only helps the students to learn the course but also identify their area of interest. The course also provides industrial experience to the students in every possible way. They introduce the industrial experience right from the first semester. They have a field placement in the final semester, which helps the students gain actual experience and grow in their careers.
Though the course has a number of positive values, the only thing I would like to change is making it as a 2 years course rather than 1 year course.
I must say that the tuition fee for international students is very expensive compared to domestic students. However, the quality of education provided by the institution is satisfactory. Learning, internship, and scholarship opportunities are also abundant. Professors would be willing to endorse you for your future employment, only if you always show up and participate in class. In addition, most of them are understanding of student needs.
View moreCentennial college offered great course structure for my program with right content. I was able to grasp the content as we went into the semesters.
also, the course included weekly assignments which felt intense at first but useful in the long run.
