I had a great experience studying Psychology at Carleton University. The professors were knowledgeable and supportive, and the program covered both theoretical and applied aspects of psychology. I especially appreciated the flexibility in course selection and the encouragement to pursue research opportunities. The campus environment is welcoming, and there are plenty of resources for academic and personal growth. I would definitely recommend Carleton to anyone interested in studying psychology or the social sciences.

This was my first year at Carleton University. I was able to live in the residence and experience unique opportunities as well as make unforgettable memories and friends to remember for a lifetime. I enjoyed the bonds and closeness energy created by the university. I will live in residence next year and hope to have another great year.

Thus far in my studies at Carleton University (keeping in mind that it has been only one semester so far), I have experienced a dedication to accommodating and supporting students through their academic struggles.

University applications seem to be the bane of every student’s existence. But I can confirm that if you don’t mind a quiet environment with lots of nature, Carleton University is for you. It does get a bit boring, but if you’re a person who socializes enough, you would barely notice.

I really enjoy Carleton University. I have been studying there since September 2019. My studies have been conducted mainly online; however, I have experienced both in person and online learning. One unique reason why I chose the Carleton psychology BA program is because it offers different concentrations of psychology for students to study in. I chose health psychology but they have 5 other ones which are super interesting such as forensic psychology and developmental psychology. I am currently in my fourth year of studies and in my second CO-OP term. The CO-OP option is also a very amazing thing Carleton offers in their psychology program because it allows you to have real work experience before graduating.

I love being able to say that I am part of the Carleton University community as it is very welcoming and helped me increase my knowledge in my desired field. The psychology field is very competitive however, the Carleton faculty provide amazing advice in navigating our future study paths. The main reason for only giving my review 4 stars instead of 5 is because there is an increasing amount of construction at the campus making it harder to navigate.

First of all, I would like to mention that Carleton University is Canada’s capital university which is known for its psychology department (renowned around the world). I chose it because it’s easy to get into Carleton and connect with all sorts of people and nationalities around the world. The professors are extremely kind and courteous, they always take into consideration the mental health of their students while giving extra deadlines or re-arranging exam timings. The beautiful campus on the island is of course a Bonus., a win-win situation for all

I transferred from college so I completed 3 years at Carleton University. I went straight to the second year so I missed the first year of meeting all of the people I’d be in my program. I did live in residence the first year and found that they tried to include everyone and have introductions and hangouts with other people to get to know each other.
Most of my professors were great to work with to succeed in the course.

During my past 3 years at Carleton, studying Psychology, I have become very interested in my program. The professors and students are all very kind and nice to talk to or go-to for any support. I find this program specifically cares deeply for the well-being of its students and will continue to strive for our overall enjoyment. I have learned a lot so far and am excited to continue to discover more in my next/final year at Carleton.
