View moreMy university experience so far has been a very positive one. Despite the fact that the global pandemic changed my schooling to online, I found that the guidance councillors and advisors made an effort to ensure they were a prominent resource for the students. From weekly reminders and prompts to reach out if help was needed, to rapid responses in stressful situations, the academic advisors displayed their active presence. They have assisted me countless times, most recently with a study abroad term that required many steps and signatures. These faculty members have made my university experience and swift one. I am also very much enjoying my program as the classes that I am required to take teach me skills that I never thought I needed throughout my studies and my life. I am learning communication skills, business and leadership skills, as well as collaboration and independence. What I enjoy so much about my program is the diversity of skills that are taught, and the promotion of breadth. As an Honours Art and Business student, I am required to take a number of business courses, art courses devoted to my major and minor as well as breadth course which range from cultural studies to biology courses. My program does their best to ensure my success in becoming a well-rounded individual.
