Throughout my time at the University of Ottawa I came to the conclusion that there is a lack of attention to quality and details. This may not be the case for every program but for social science programs I find that the content is lackluster and often incorrect.

The University of Ottawa is a wonderful institution full of opportunities! I am in my fourth year of studies, the teaching styles are suitable for all different students and the atmosphere is safe and friendly.

I liked that the program talks about real-life problems and conflicts around the world and how we can learn and avoid them in the future and meet new people all around the world with similar interests. I didn’t like how some professors were a little rude and didn’t really care about their students. I would recommend the school to others but there is always bad some bad everywhere you go.

The International Development program offered at the University of Ottawa is the best option that you could choose. More than any other program, it gives you an in-depth knowledge of the processes and changes that affect the social, cultural and economic dimensions on an international scale. It will give you a broad knowledge of the various facets of economic, political, social and historical, political, social and historical aspects of the societies of the Global South. It also offers you the opportunity to gain experience abroad with Canadian and local NGOs. This program is excellent and is waiting for you!
