Currently studying Computer Science at the institution, the programme immediately exposes you to high level of work-ability that would be required from you upon completing your studies, in essence, your search for an occupation in the job market. Nonetheless, the programme provides a wide range of specialization opportunities. After your first year, the courses you should have taken would help give an idea of where you would love to practice further should you decide to continue your courses. Personally, as a student specializing in Software Engineering, I really appreciate the wide range of other areas I can choose to go into, to strengthen my position in the job market. For instance, alongside being a Software Engineer, I can decide to dive deeper into the world of data science, considering the courses that I take are stepping stones to becoming more learned in the latter.

At the university, the professors/lecturers are very open to discussing any ideas that may occur to you immediately during (in-person) lectures and there is clear evidence of strong education in their fields.

Furthermore, even with the rosiness that may come from delving into my programme, the intensity of some courses is not as appreciated and greater flexibility regarding the manner in which some lectures handle their courses would make a huge difference as students complete more years of the programme.

Moreover, when you do the work, you would come to find that there are more and more career prospects such as easily obtaining certifications, discovering other minor interesting fields of study, etc. along the way, not just locally but also internationally.
