Marketing degrees can be studied either as Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BSc). The major difference lies in the presence of more scientific and technological aspects, which are commonly seen in a BSc rather than a BA.
Like most degrees, marketing courses last between three and four years, depending on the university. However, there are institutions which give students the possibility to do a two-year associate’s degree – also called a ‘foundation’ degree.
Even if graduating from both degrees qualifies candidates to work in this industry, a Bachelor degree has higher chances to lead you to well-paid jobs.

Overall, McGill offers a perfect balance between academic rigor and a supportive community. I feel fortunate to be part of such a dynamic university, and I’m looking forward to everything else I will experience here.

However, for independent and eager learners like myself, McGill is a great place for world class education. Although the grading can be disheartening it is worth it if you are up for the challenge thanks to the wide range of courses and knowledge professors. Additionally, by being situated in the heart of Montreal, McGill students get the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the cities culture. Despite having a large work load, student can still be found trying new restaurants or experiencing Montreal’s vibrant night life.
