McGill’s reputation of challenging academics isn’t deceitful and the University will not hold your hand throughout the experience. However, for independent and eager learners like myself, McGill is a great place for world class education. Although the grading can be disheartening it is worth it if you are up for the challenge thanks to the wide range of courses and knowledge professors. Additionally, by being situated in the heart of Montreal, McGill students get the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the cities culture. Despite having a large work load, student can still be found trying new restaurants or experiencing Montreal’s vibrant night life.
