Parent or mature student? Don't bother applying
While I truly value MacEwan’s professors, campus atmosphere, and academic program, the university administration has been profoundly disappointing. Their promotional materials promise flexibility and support, yet they enforce rigid class schedules that ignore the realities of mature students with caregiving responsibilities. This gap between marketing and practice feels misleading, reflects poor communication, and shows a complete lack of genuine effort to accommodate family status. MacEwan, please live up to your own promises. I believed in you.
