It’s not too bad – I ended up taking a BA in General Studies with a Minor in Health Sciences because they didn’t have a specific stream for an BA in Health Sciences degree.

Core courses were not offered consistently either which can delay getting your degree significantly if you don’t keep up with deadlines and course offerings.

The professors are a mix of either really caring professors who care about their students, or tenured and new professors who are on a bit of a power trip and ply favorites.

Overall, I’m glad I was able to graduate with my degree, but if I could start over, I would go to an institution with a BA in Health Sciences program.

The Health Science programme offers a great balance between theory and hands-on learning. The professors are knowledgeable and genuinely care about students’ success, often taking time to explain complex topics clearly. I really appreciated the lab sessions and group projects that helped connect classroom knowledge to real-life healthcare applications. The campus provides excellent facilities, and there are many opportunities to join research or volunteering activities. At times, the workload can be demanding, but it truly prepares you for a career in health or medical fields. Overall, I would highly recommend this programme to anyone passionate about healthcare and science.

I gained a lot of knowledge, practical skills, and new experiences. My major is Public Relations, and all the professors and instructors at the Melville School of Business were very supportive, open to any questions, and always ready to help. I also really appreciated the fact that Kwantlen Polytechnic University encourages creativity, uniqueness, and freedom in art. I have never been afraid to speak my mind and share my thoughts.
There are also opportunities for networking and building connections. I think it is a great place to start my career growth.
