The BFA program is quite extensive and the professors are all well versed in their practices. The Campus is Beautiful during the summer. Overall my experience was good. If I had to change one things it would have to be the course load, it can get quite heavy with multiple studio classes.

Dean and Protective Services fabricated a report in order to exclude a student who could not defend himself. When addressed the Dean stated verbatim “I don’t care”. The report was overturned years later but no compensation or apology was issued whatsoever. Horrible experience at this University.

University of Alberta has great academic and n-academic resources. Professors were really helpful and approachable. There are also lots of opportunities for graduate projects, particularly projects that are funded from external sources/

This is the only university in which I was able to find some specific courses regarding my rare passions (prehistoric marine reptiles, the evolution of birds and such). The courses were clear, really interesting and extremely informative. All the teachers seemed very passionate about the courses they offered. I am very happy I got to learn more in depth about these very specific subjects thanks to the University of Alberta!
