High quality learning experience at Carleton
Carleton is definitely a world class university with a pedagogical approach that creates a solid balance between theory and practice. For instance, upon completing a theory based course on research methods in the fall semester of 2022, I then got the opportunity to conduct an actual research study in the winter semester during which I interviewed 12 individuals drawn from academia and very senior executives from business.
The coolest part of the study was being able to introduce a conceptual model that illustrated a phenomenon that had hitherto not been mapped, meaning that I got the opportunity to make an original contribution to knowledge. Even cooler was the fact that I then got to present a summary paper at a research conference that was hosted at York University.
To cut a long story short, studying the Master’s in Philanthropy
