Good hands on experience with some unorganized courses

This review is for the optical systems and sensors program in particular. I enjoyed the hand on aspects of this program, mainly within the Algonquin college labs. The labs of various courses allowed for exploration into the topics learned within the lecture sessions. The professors within this program are the main issues in my experience. Many of these professors are unorganized which makes learning in some courses difficult. This program is a joint one between Algonquin College and Carleton, the courses offered by Carleton felt more organized on average. Not having visited the Carleton campus many times, I cannot speak much of the student life there, but the Algonquin experience is okay. I would rather recommend Carleton to someone rather than Algonquin. The program offers enough course variety where many careers are available after graduation. With the many courses that are given in this program, many of them feel unneeded. Overall the program is in a decent state, with some individual courses and professors needing improvements.
