Cape Breton University, located in Sydney, Nova Scotia is home to a plethora of cultures providing an opportunity to further explore higher education. Sydney, Nova Scotia is known for its natural beauty with scenic views around the island. It is an adventure junky’s fantasy land as there are summer activities from hiking along the world-renowned “Cabot Trail” to skiing down some of the most beautiful slopes during the winter. Academically, Cape Breton University offers 2,3, and 4-year programs with the university holding a 50% acceptance rate making the school very attainable for many internationals with different academic standards. The university is relatively small and targets international students with grants, scholarships and bursaries in order to populate the area of Sydney and continue to grow the economy. Many international students come for their education and stay for the opportunity to create their lives in this wonderful country. Due to the grant program, the university has students from every continent creating an opportunity to meet individuals from an array of different backgrounds. There is no university like Cape Breton.
