Altogether, the university for me has been partly stressful and partly fun, university of Calgary has been able to balance out every aspect of my life, from the gym, to perfect study areas, to a number of food courts, to study sessions, fairly productive classes etc. I personally would totally recommend it to anyone looking to come.
View moreFrom my perspective, the University of Calgary is an excellent institution for higher education. The professors are highly qualified and dedicated to providing students with a comprehensive education. They are always available to answer questions, provide extra help, and offer guidance. The class sizes are manageable, and the professors take the time to get to know their students. The campus is modern and well-maintained with plenty of resources to support student’s academic and personal development. The university provides a broad range of programs and services to support students, including career counselling, mental health support, and extracurricular activities. Overall, the University of Calgary has provided me with a valuable and fulfilling educational experience.
View moreNot bad overall. The campus is nice and accessible. Has some excellent professors and programs such as PURE. But there aren’t too much faculty expecially is smaller programs so class options are somewhat limited.
View moreThe University of Calgary is a top university in Canada, with a great blend of walkable paths and the great nature that is apparent everywhere on campus. However, a core problem in this university is the large amount of students, making it extremely hard to enrol in courses, often only enrolling at the last minute or having to postpone required courses for a later semester, which hinders with the duration of your program. The University of Calgary must try to at least add more sections to courses and build new faculty buildings to increase capacity. That way, new students can enjoy the university in the future without having to deal with this problem.
