UofC is excellent for those who want to engage in research or entrepreneurship opportunities. The faculty of arts has decent professors, although mostly theory-based. Great for the sciences, although make sure to check professor ratings. If you are international then I recommend finding off-campus housing as the dining center is awful.

My university has given me the chance to get the post secondary experience I have always wanted. The campus is beautiful and always clean. Students are very open and helpful along with professors and student advisors. Overall, only being in second year, I am really love it here

The best part about studying at the University of Calgary is the community. My faculty is extremely tight knit and there are always tons of social events and networking opportunities to meet other students and professionals in the field. Further, they use an innovative approach to teaching and learning which results in course offerings that are only available here.
