The University of Calgary offers high quality education and research opportunities across different faculties. I can especially vouch for the Faculty of Kinesiology, which has been nominated the #1 Sport Science school in North America! A downside to consider is that student life is subpar as this is mostly a commuter school. That is not to say that you cannot have a fantastic university experience. You get what you put in! There are many clubs to get involved in.

View moreUofC is a fantastic university if your goal is to get a quality education. The programs, facilities, and professors are all top notch. However, as a commuter school, social life and the stereotypical “party life” of university is much smaller here in UofC. Thus, I’d recommend this school if you end up staying in dorms or near campus with roommates so you can better enjoy the university experience while still getting a great education
