If you’re planning to do your Masters, do not consider TRU. Although they entice you with the whole “no GMAT exam required”, most courses are basic and can be done via self study.
There are many good professors here, but the whole process of course registration may leave you with some of the worst professors I’ve ever come across.
And when it comes to fees, they are significantly cheaper than most MBA programmes in Canada. But looking deeper into it, there is a reason why the school is ranked below so many others.
Beautiful town, lovely people, but the quality of education is not worth the cost you’d be investing to come to Kamloops.
My recommendation would be to give your GMAT and consider your options.
I love the fact the class sizes are not that huge, the small class size of around 30-35 students makes it easier for the faculty members to deliver the lectures. The campus is decent in size with good amenities and good opportunities
View moreThis is an amazing university that prepares students for the job market. Students leave this institution fully prepared to face challenges in the real world. I particularly enjoyed the mentorship program at this university. This really helped me in my career, and gave me a guide to how to succeed in my own business The professors and lecturers are friendly and easily approachable. Students are also able to access hostels for accommodation at affordable rates. I would recommend the institution for those students will plans of joining one of the best institutions for higher education in Canada.
View moregreat university, located pretty close to transit, and a beautiful campus. the professors are pretty good, smaller class sizes, so they have more opportunities to speak individually in some classes. the student body as a whole is really nice, I made a lot of great friends here.
View moreThe staff both academic and non-academic are very supportive, the school are very focused on mental health it has a lot of services that promote wellness. The major issue is that African students lack representation and they have no scholarship opportunities.
