Every criminology professor I had was always encouraging and wanted us to succeed in their course. In each criminology course I took, I could tell the professor were really experienced and passionate about what they were teaching. This made me even more interested in class due to their passion. I would recommend people to take at least one criminology course during their undergrad because I think the professor makes the courses a lot more interesting.
View moreThe program can sometimes get a bit repetitive and have sone unnecessary courses. But studying cases is an exciting part of the subject. And the three semester system does not seem to be very reasonable.

View moreThe CRIM program at SFU is great. They offer a lot of courses that go beyond the basics of crime. The most intriguing to me was Family Violence and Criminal Justice. The professors within this program really care about what they teach and the students. I’ve found most of my TAs to be super nice and helpful. In regard to the student life, the school offers many clubs and co-curriculars. There are constantly events all around campus to engage the students.
