Algoma College Students’ Union (AUSU) committed to guaranteeing that students’ college experience is satisfying and agreeable. AUSU exists to supply understudies representation and an assortment of administrations to construct a more grounded Algoma College community. Number of events held to support students through cultural programs, health and wellbeing, Language development, writing and science lab building a strong foundation for their professional growth. The one thing I wish they improve is placement opportunities.

Good professional staff and senior students are more interacting with the newcomers. Multiple options for extracurricular activities, lots of options are available, in the end, it is the student’s choice to decide.

Overall, the algoma university is well-equipped with the necessary structures, resources, and expertise to offer an exceptional educational environment. Its outstanding academic programs, combined with a reliable and secure website, contribute to a holistic and enriching experience for all stakeholders involved.

Overall, my first year at Algoma University has been a positive one. On the first day of class, we were treated incredibly nicely, given very clear instructions on how to get to our designated studios, and met our individual student assistants. The instructors in my program do their utmost to keep everyone informed of their responsibilities. Involvement with the food pantry and other clubs on campus has been enjoyable for me. These organizations have connected me with a wonderful community of thoughtful peers and adults. The school has a beautiful culture.

In comparison to other Canadian colleges’ campuses in Brampton, Algoma’s campus is enormous. I’ve been an orientation leader for the past two semesters, and I can attest to the allure and value of Algoma’s extracurricular programs. I currently live with my friends in Brampton, but the university assists in setting up campus housing, hostel housing, and local housing as well. You shouldn’t be concerned because you are in good hands.

I picked Algoma University because it had excellent academics! Algoma University offers courses that are industry-specific and gives students the chance to join major MNC players like Deloitte, Amazon, and others. Algoma has a website where they invite their business contacts to annually place students. Although I have not yet received my diploma, I can report that one of my seniors was hired by a university shortly after receiving theirs, which is a promising sign for Algoma.The institution hosts all of the Indian festivals throughout the year so that students can meet new people and get along with the professors, bringing every culture and community closer together.

what i like the most is that the school has a very engaging way of teaching, with the use of games and real life experience to help us understand our courses.

what i dislike though is that some courses that are online are meant for offline classes

The University is located in downtown Brampton. The faculties are great and friendly. Whenever you have doubts you can ask them without any hesitation. They are always ready to help students. There is a rose theatre nearby where students can enjoy the theatre in their free time. Also, there is a café which can be used by students in their free time to get some refreshments.
