I did my bachelors degree at this school several years ago and really enjoyed the small class sizes that allowed you to connect with your instructors on a more personal level. Having completed my Masters at the University of Ottawa and teaching undergraduate students there however, I can say that the difficulty of material taught at Algoma U is significantly lower and the overall depth of knowledge one will leave with is subpar compared to other Canadian universities

The curriculum at Algoma university emphasizes theoretical knowledge, but practical exposure and research opportunities can help to better prepare us for this competitive sector.

Generally, Algoma is a good choice for students seeking a close academic community but may not appeal to those seeking specialized resources or various extracurricular opportunities.

The University is a good university with small classes to have a more interactive conversation with the lecturer’s.The university has an overall good student life team as well.What I dislike about the university there’s not enough on campus Jobs which is understandable and I wish they could host more events for the students to interact with each other either than that the university is perfect
