I’m in the Biotechnology program at Georgian, which is good but doesn’t offer co-op or placements, unlike Nursing or Computer Science. Those opportunities would really boost our practical experience. On the positive side, I love the diverse community here, making the college feel welcoming. There are also on-campus jobs available, which help with both income and experience.

Georgian College has been a great place to study. The campus is stunning, with modern and beautiful buildings that make it a welcoming environment. I’ve really enjoyed the variety of food options available, which cater to different tastes and preferences. One of the things I admire about the college is how it keeps growing and adding exciting new programs, like the automotive program, which has been getting a lot of attention. They also offer great support through scholarships and bursaries, which is a big help for many students.

I’m currently studying Biotechnology, and while the program itself is strong, I do wish it included co-op or placement opportunities. Many other programs, like Nursing and Computer Science, have these, and they make a huge difference when it comes to gaining practical experience. This is something I feel could really enhance the program.

One of the things I love most about Georgian is the diversity of the community. It’s easy to meet people from different backgrounds, and it makes the college feel like a truly inclusive place. Plus, there are on-campus job opportunities, which are a great way to earn some income and gain work experience while studying.

My experience has been positive, and Georgian College offers a lot to its students. With a few improvements to some programs, it could be even better!

Very few Uni and college provide the course which I am studying right now, Opticianry but this is the only college who provides the machinery, scopes and campus in the whole Canada where a student can rely without any second though and hesitation for their beautiful career. I would like to strongly recommend this course and especially this College and even the area which I am living. The atmosphere in the college is a lot friendly and nature loving. This is best college I have ever experienced.
