I have had a generally positive experience at Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso. The university offers good academic opportunities and has many qualified professors who are committed to teaching and to students’ professional development.

One of the main strengths is the opportunity to learn in a public university environment with contact with different areas, research projects, extension activities, and practical experiences. I also appreciate the diversity of students and the possibility of meeting people from different backgrounds.

However, the campus infrastructure could be significantly improved. Some buildings and common areas need better maintenance, and there are also concerns regarding safety in certain parts of the campus, especially at some times of the day. Better lighting, maintenance, and security measures would improve the overall student experience.
