UNICAMP is one of the most important universities in Latin America and consistently ranks highly in global education rankings. Studying there revealed to me the true depth of my Brazilian roots and how urgent and essential the role of education is in addressing the countless problems we face as a nation and as a world.

I studied Public Administration at UNICAMP, a program largely geared toward the development of public policies. Courses such as Economics, Mathematics, Accounting, or Statistics, which are not directly tied to public policy, were still deeply connected to the theme within the curriculum.

I consider this an extremely positive aspect of the program. In a country like Brazil, the design, implementation, maintenance, and overall development of effective public policies that support those they are meant to serve is of utmost importance.

Moreover, the professors in the program are outstanding, equipped with all the pedagogical and academic tools needed to deliver the curriculum. The University Restaurant is affordable and always served students well during my time there, and facilities such as computers, whiteboards, and similar equipment were of good quality and well maintained.

I believe the only negative point I can mention about UNICAMP concerns the structural conditions of the campus where I studied. Maintenance was infrequent and poorly executed, putting employees and students at risk while moving through the space. However, there were ramps and elevators, making the campus accessible to everyone.

Overall, it was a privilege to have been a student at UNICAMP. It is a source of pride that I will always carry with me. I am deeply grateful to the university for shaping me into a capable professional and a better person.
