The university is located in an area not so far from the city centre and there is a big amount of transport lines that serve the place, there is also a huge parking space. For those who are thinking of renting an apartment close to the campus, there is a wide variety of options nearby. The university provides houses for students, but it’s necessary to go through a selection process and prove socioeconomic vulnerability.
The facilities are well designed, although very simple, they provide a comfortable place to study. As a public institution in Brazil, they suffer from a small budget for some materials in places such as for the labs. The teachers are very good and surpass the lack of resources, they build an assistance network between them, the students, and other institutions that don’t leave us in need of anything.
The university demonstrates great concern for the community, in this way it is possible to be part of different projects to support it. The library is well organized and the teachers are always cautious with the recommendations, I’ve never had problems finding a book when it was suggested. They also have a space for reading and studying, where it is possible to find countless power sockets and free Wi-fi available.
They still don’t have a low-cost restaurant inside of the campus, but they have few places around the university where it is possible to pay cheap prices for a meal or snacks. The neighborhood also has some self-service restaurants. It’s important to know that the institution has some projects with international universities making it possible for the students to do an exchange with the Uneb support.
