to be honest my experience at UFPE was good overall, what stood out the most to me were the professors and the campus environment. most professors are well prepared and some of them really care about teaching and helping students, which makes the classes more engaging and easier to follow. i liked that in many subjects you are encouraged to think critically and not just memorize content, which makes the learning experience better. at the same time, not all classes are perfect, some can feel a bit disorganized depending on the subject and the professor, and sometimes the workload can be inconsistent.
campus life is something i really enjoyed, it’s a calm and open environment where you can focus on studying but also meet new people and build connections. there is a good mix of students from different backgrounds, which makes the experience more interesting. i also liked that there are opportunities like academic projects, events and activities that help you gain experience outside the classroom and develop practical skills.
on the downside, there are some things that could definitely be improved. communication from the university is not always clear, and sometimes it’s hard to get information quickly when you need it. administrative processes can be slow and a bit confusing, which can be frustrating, especially when dealing with important requests. also, some facilities could be better maintained, even though the overall structure works fine.
overall i would recommend UFPE, especially for students who are willing to take advantage of the opportunities available and stay engaged during the course. it’s not perfect, but it offers a solid experience and a good balance between academics and campus life.
