Federal University of ABC - UFABC (reviews)

Overall, my experience at UFABC has been very positive, especially regarding the Bachelor in Science and Technology (BC&T) foundation. The interdisciplinary model is challenging but excellent for developing a broad scientific mindset before specializing in areas like Automation or IT. The professors are highly qualified, often bringing research-level depth to the classroom. For students like me who balance university with roles in the industry, the flexibility of the curriculum is a major plus, though the “quadrimestre” system is extremely fast-paced and requires high discipline. The campus environment in Santo André is modern and fosters great collaboration among peers. It is a demanding university, but it truly prepares you for complex problem-solving in the real world.

It is a very beautiful University. I am currently an International student and both staff and other students has made me feel very welcome and made sure my transition was super easy. The teachers are amazing and make sure learning i9s relatable and fun.
