Globalisation strengthens the connection between companies from all over the world. It is time people understand the importance of international business.
International business degrees are shaped to give students practical knowledge about different business management practices from all over the world. In addition, candidates are prepared for business careers abroad or in organisations that are engaged in business on a global scale.
Moreover, international business is vital in order to understand different cultures and mindsets and ultimately become a global citizen.
A degree in International Business prepares you for a job in a culturally diverse business environment, which means that any graduate can benefit from opportunities in any country.
The advantage of an International Business course is that you are highly employable for most industries since the majority of skills acquired are transferable.
Candidates studying international business will also gain information and insight about the difficulties of starting and growing businesses from different countries, something which is of utmost importance for anyone who wants to make their business thrive.
International Business is usually a three-year commitment, depending on each university. Lately, there are institutions which offer the possibility of having a ‘sandwich course’, which basically enables the candidates to work abroad for one year in the industry, as part of their studies.
The purpose of the ‘sandwich course’ is to encourage students to step outside their comfort zone and work in a different culture and environment. In this way, they will understand other mentalities, as well as gain relevant working experience in the field.
The university is great and carries a well-known ranking. The professors that teach at this university have a great academic background and are well-experienced. However, the grading scheme is not up to the mark.
View moreKUL is a really good university, it’ll present good opportunities for you in the future.
The best part about attending this university is the habits you develop over time to make yourself a productive and high-achieving person. The worst part is organisations’ material can be hectic sometimes.
View moreDue to the workloads, this university doesn’t give time for their students to have some free time to enjoy some uni life. Furthermore, they have very few spaces to study around the campus and everything closes by 7, and libraries aren’t open on the weekend. They hired one teacher for 5 of our subjects who’s not even capable of teaching one subject.
View moreI highly recommend KU Leuven as it will provide you with a high-level education at a very affordable price and in a great location. It is an excellent choice for both undergraduate and master programs. The university provides a huge selection of programs and is full of international students, which creates a great environment for self-development.
View moreThis university offers a good range of programmes with well-suited courses. I only wish this university had a better library where you can study. There’s nothing to dislike about this university, it’s also highly ranked.
View moreIt’s a Good university, good environment and it provides a bright future
I would suggest more credit works throughout the semester that contribute to our grades other than just a 100% graded exams
Good luck to everyone
I do not regret at all having come to Belgium to study, more specifically, KUL! It is true that the exams are super difficult but they also prepare you well before taking them. Overall all it is an amazing place to study.
View moreFrom what i heard, KUL would be a perfect fit for my personal and academic background. It is considered to be the best university in Belgium, so i thought the courses would be amazing. However, I think that teachers are still using old school methods that do not really captivate students.
View moreThe teaching skills of the professors are very traditional and out-of-date. The professors are usually mean when you have a problem and not helpful at all. We don’t have midterms and therefore we get graded only by one exam per semester. This makes everyone stressed and depressed.
View moreI was always inspired by business activities and since KUL provides a practical view of that field, it is a perfect fit for myself. I study at the Brussels Campus since it is an international course. The classes and the courses approached by the teachers are really interesting and appealing for its students. aThe only negative opinion that I have is its campus. Since it is in the centre of Brussels, the campus consist in a limited number of buildings. It is not at all appealing to create student activities, formal and informal ones.
