Student review [#79142] for Drama and Performance
at KU Leuven

It’s been two years now since I graduated from LUCA School Of Arts in Leuven in the Dramatic Arts. I must say that my time there has been a hell of a ride, with very beautiful, educating and illuminating moments, but als with a lot of frustration and confusion with the institute. I felt like the internal organization of the institute had a lot of flaws and was in need of change. Structurally but also when it comes to diversity and representation (more women, people of colour, queer people, etc). I think this was my main frustration with the school and its internal structure. On the other hand I do have to say that this school changed my life. Learning about the art of theatre made me discover myself in a total different way that was almost cathartic. I think it can be an amazing institute for young people to discover that, but I would love to see it improve in order to provide a more qualitative education!
