The school is really inclusive and gives many opportunities for students to grow on a personal level. The teachers are willing to help you and there is a calm atmosphere in class. It makes us able to speak openly about certain questions we may have or feedback we would like to give. The teachers are always there if you need them and the students are really kind.

I would definitely recommend Artevelde University of Applied Sciences and the International Business Management programme.

What I like most is the strong international environment and the practical approach to learning. We work a lot on business cases inspired by real companies and real situations, which allows students to safely practice problem-solving, decision-making, teamwork, and presenting before entering the actual business world.

I also really appreciate the atmosphere at Artevelde. The lecturers are approachable and feel more like coaches or mentors than distant superiors. Many of them also have real experience in the business field themselves, which makes the lessons more realistic and engaging. They genuinely try to guide students and help them grow both professionally and personally.

The programme helped me improve my communication skills, critical thinking, and ability to work with people from different cultures. There are also many extra opportunities to grow through excellence tracks, company visits, international projects, guest speakers, networking events, study trips, and exchange programmes.

Sometimes the workload can be quite intense, especially with group projects and deadlines happening at the same time, but overall I think it prepares students very well for an international career in business.

My general opinion is that this may be a confusing bachelor. The intention of it should be more clear. This bachelor helps you get general knowledge about different business directions. It’s not like a Harvard course where they teach all the very specific details about how to ran a business. They teach you different directions and a little bit about each one. A lot of variety. This could be positive or negative. For me, it was what I was looking for. I disliked how hard the language courses are compared to the rest of the subjects, and also how unrelated they are. Why would the hardest subject be something quite unrelated to the bachelor? But overall I am happy with the subjects, the variety, and the freedom of this bachelor. It’s easy to combine it with work. And teachers are there if you need them.

It s a great institution however, management in terms of im the international office arent that great.the system of having a 9/20 is an automatic resit (but thats for Belgium in general). If not the courses itself and tuition fée are accessible to study business fully taught in english.

I like Artevelde, due to the many different subjects and variations between them. The teachers also help you understand the material. However, I often find that many teachers use too much text on their PowerPoints and make use of AI, which makes it very boring. Other than that, everything is great.

Good, we do a lot of projects that I feel will be very similar to my future work life. While it is not the same experience as Academic university, I do feel like I am actually learning something that will be useful. The smaller classes also make it easier for communication with professors.

I study International Business Management at Artevelde University of Applied Sciences and overall I’ve had a positive experience. The programme has a strong practical focus—there’s a real emphasis on case work, group projects, and applying theory to actual business situations rather than just memorising it. The international dimension is a highlight, with courses taught in English, a diverse student group, and opportunities for exchange and internships abroad.
The professors are generally approachable and bring real-world business experience into the classroom, which makes the material more relevant. Campus facilities are modern and the support services are helpful. If I had to mention a downside,
I’d recommend this programme to anyone looking for a hands-on, career-oriented business degree with a genuinely international outlook

The lecturers are close to students and always open to help and answer questions. Classes are interactive and workshops are often organized. I would recommend it for students seeking interactive courses and group assignments, I would not recommend it for students who prefer to work autonomously or who combine studies with a full time job. The program focuses a lot on leadership. The main campus (Kantienberg) is accessible and recently renovated. There are also initiatives for international students and those who are keen on sustainability and ESG.

At times it feels like Artevelde does not take itself seriously. The first year was almost a joke, tasks were fairly easy and child-like, the second year it got more serious and the third was entirely different. it was almost a different course at the end. 2 years of broken elevators at the Stroopkaai campus and the heating that never worked.
Some professor were very understanding and did their best, others would never listen and continuously interrupt students.
I had worse experiences in others school or heard it from friends. Would I recommend Artevelde? Yes, go for it, put in the effort and you will graduate.
