ULB has strong academic content and professors who are passionate about their fields. The diversity of students and the international environment are definitely positive aspects, and Brussels as a city gives many opportunities. However, the organisation is often confusing, administrative support can be very slow, and communication with students is sometimes unclear. If you are independent and proactive, you can make the most of it, but if you expect close guidance, it can be frustrating.
Overall, I would recommend ULB to motivated students who want solid academic training and don’t mind navigating a bit of chaos along the way.
